20th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade and Festival

North Myrtle Beach, SC - The Irish (and the Irish for a day) dig out their green socks and green bowler hats for this festival.  The mouthwatering smell of corned beef and cabbage permeates everywhere and if you aren't wearing green, you will be pinched---you can count on it!  This is the day that makes nearly Everyone, Everywhere Wish they were Irish.  Main Street turns to a sea of green, making this one of the most traditional and unique festivals in North Myrtle Beach!

This year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival will start at 9:00 am with a parade down Main Street.  After the parade, stay and mingle through the street festival. There will be two stages of continuous musical entertainment throughout the day.  As you wander through the arts and craft booths you will reach the picnic tables where several food vendors will be set up offering a wide variety of great Irish food. Near the food vendors will be the play area just for the "wee" ones, chocked full of rides and games for all ages.

All of the festivities end at 4:00 pm, but before you leave, make sure to stop by the information tent and purchase a sweatshirt as a souvenir of one glorious day!

The headlining entertainer will be Men of Distinction appearing on The Headliner Stage (located at Hillside and Main Street) from 11:00 am - 12:00 noon, 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm and 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm.  Visit www.themenofdistinction.net to learn more about these wonderful performers.
