North Myrtle Beach, SC - The North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce challenges YOU to be part of the “Business Race” as part of the 4th Annual Paws Across the Water Duck Race, to benefit The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach.

Katharine Keaton, chairwomen of the Duck Race Committee stated, “We will be selling 150 ducks for $150 each as part of our first ever Business Race.”

“The event will be held in conjunction with the 4th Annual Paws Across the Water Duck Race.  The Business Race will take place at approximately 1:30 pm on Saturday, September 6th, then immediately following will be the main event.”

To buy your ducks for the Business Race please stop by The North Myrtle Beach Chamber, located at 270 Hwy 17 N in North Myrtle Beach. Those who purchase the Business Ducks are asked to decorate them with their company logo.  You will be recognized through chamber email blasts and newsletters as part of the “Business Race” Group. The chamber challenges you to be a part of this wonderful event to raise money and awareness for the shelter.

The Humane Society of North Myrtle Beach is a 501[c]3 non-profit organization.  In 2007 the shelter reunited 116 lost animals with their owners, found new loving homes for 532 others, and provided 335 low cost spay/neuter procedures.
