North Myrtle Beach, SC- Rumors of gasoline shortages in North Myrtle Beach, SC just aren’t true.  After an evaluation of North Myrtle Beach gas stations, only two out of seventeen were completely out of gasoline.  

“There is plenty of fuel in North Myrtle Beach,” stated Marc Jordan, President/CEO of the North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce.

“National reports say some cities in South Carolina are out of gasoline, giving the impression there's a shortage everywhere. When that is not the case here in North Myrtle Beach.”

Each week the North Myrtle Beach Chamber will complete a survey of North Myrtle Beach gas stations to evaluate the possibility of gasoline shortages.  This information will be made available to the public, including callers to the chamber’s Visitors Center.  In addition, the chamber has added a link on their homepage to inform visitors there is no gasoline shortage in North Myrtle Beach.
