North Myrtle Beach, SC- The North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce held their Annual Awards Gala, “Night of a Thousand Stars” on Saturday, January 31st at Lakeside Conference Center at Premier Resorts at Barefoot Resort.
Ed Horton, Chairman of the Board, Marc Jordan, President/CEO and Mike Robertson, Membership Chair presented the 2008-2009 awards. Winners were as follows:
Non-Profit of the Year – North Strand Helping Hand
Excellence in Customer Service – Interior Design Solutions, LLC
Excellence in Community Service – Carrabba’s Italian Grill
Small Business of the Year – Hope, Taylor & Company
Large Business of the Year – Hair on Main
Entrepreneur of the Year – Wyman Wise, State Farm Insurance
Ambassador of the Year- Michelle Mate, Sea Server, Inc.
Chairman’s Award – Monroe Baldwin, Myrtle Beach Tours
The evening began at 7:00pm as guests were greeted on a red carpet. The dinner and program began at 7:45pm and after dinner entertainment was provided by U “n” I Jazz Band.
