Chamber asks public to submit questions for Meet the Candidates Forum
North Myrtle Beach, SC – The North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce is holding a Meet the Candidates Forum for its members and the public, on Tuesday, October 20th at 6:30 pm at the J. Bryan Floyd Community Center in North Myrtle Beach.
The forum will be moderated by Edgar Dyer, Executive Vice President at Coastal Carolina University. The Chamber is asking the public to submit questions they feel are most important to ask the council and mayoral candidates. Questions can be e-mailed to candidatesforum@nmbchambermembers.com. Questions must be received by October 15th to allow the Chamber time to prepare for the forum. A chamber panel will select the questions from those provided prior to the event, and if time permits, on the evening of the event.
“Electing candidates who understand and support business and embrace a positive business climate for our community is critically important to the success of our entire city,” stated Marc Jordan, President/CEO of the Chamber.
For more information please contact Charlene Lynam at (843) 281-2662. The J. Bryan Floyd Community Center is located at 1030 Possum Trot Road in North Myrtle Beach. Light refreshments will be served.
