North Myrtle Beach, SC - Boulineau's IGA in conjunction with the North Myrtle Beach Chamber Foundation have joined forces to make the Thanksgiving holiday a little brighter for hundreds of families in the North Myrtle Beach area.

They are working together for the tenth year in a row to raise money for turkey dinners.  The past nine years this fundraiser has donated over 6,000 Thanksgiving dinners to deserving families in the North Myrtle Beach area.

The Turkey Dinner Drive will kick off tonight, Thursday, September 15th at the North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce September Business After Hours, hosted by Docksider's Marina Grille, 2051 Bridge View Court in North Myrtle Beach; co-hosted by RE/MAX Southern Shores.

Betty Mauney, Information Specialist for the Chamber is spearheading the fund-raising effort and will be on hand Thursday evening promoting the drive and collecting donations.

A Thanksgiving dinner can be provided for $21.00 which includes a twelve to fourteen pound turkey, yams, two cans of vegetables, cranberry sauce, rolls and a pie.  Those wishing to donate can make contributions via mail; please make checks payable to: North Myrtle Beach Chamber Foundation, 1521 Hwy 17 South, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582.
