North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce Names Claire Yoder VP of Resource Development and Member Engagement
NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Nov. 14, 2016 – The North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce, Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is pleased to announce that Claire Yoder has been named its new vice president of resource development and member engagement. Yoder has been serving with the Chamber since May 2015 as its corporate and foundation relations manager.
In her new role, she will be assisting with managing all Chamber revenue initiatives, overseeing staff, establishing benchmarks and performance goals, planning Chamber special events, and nurturing member relationships, as well as overseeing the North Myrtle Beach Chamber Foundation and the Chamber’s multi-year campaign initiative, “Building North Myrtle Beach.” Both the director of member relations and the director of membership sales will also report directly to Yoder in the newly announced structure.
Prior to joining the Chamber’s staff, Yoder most recently served as the director of development for Sacred Heart Schools in Louisville, Ky. During her three years at Scared Heart Schools, she also held the positions of development manager and database coordinator. Yoder received her Bachelor of Arts in communications with a corporate concentration and a minor in business administration from Elon University in Elon, N.C.
