• The North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce Convention & Visitors Bureau received 4-Star Accreditation from the US Chamber of Commerce in June 2009. 

• The North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce’s advertising agency, DSL Marketing, Inc. received a silver Addy Award for the “Its Stays With You” print ad campaign at the 2009 American Advertising Federation - Coastal Carolinas annual awards.

• The Travel Channel’s Samantha Brown Show featured Destination North Myrtle Beach and The Grand Strand in their “Passports to Great Weekends” summer 2008 series.

• The North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce 2007 Quarterly Calendar of Events won the Excellence Award by ACCE’s Awards for Communications Excellence.  (ACCE is American Chamber of Commerce Executives.)

• The North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce was named “Family Friendly” in 2007 by The Family Friendly Business Initiative, which is a community service project of the community coalition of Horry County and Coastal Organization of Human Resources.  

• The North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce was nominated by the American Chamber of Commerce Executive (ACCE) for the “Chamber of the Year” Award in 2007.

• The North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce won two silver Addy Awards in 2006 for the “Our Idea Of” outdoor campaign and print campaign in 2006.  The Addy awards are sponsored by CAMP (Coastal Advertising and Marketing Professionals).  

• The North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce 2006 Quarterly Calendar of Events won Honorable Mention by ACCE’s Awards for Communications Excellence.

• The North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce won a silver Addy Award for the “Our Idea Of” billboard campaign in 2005.  The Addy awards are sponsored by CAMP (Coastal Advertising and Marketing Professionals).

• The 2006-2007 North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce Relocation and Community Resource Magazine Directory won the Award of Excellence for Magazines and Periodicals, the top award in the Southern United States by Printing Industry Association of the South.
