Charlene Lynam Named North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce Director of Member Relations and Special Events
NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Nov. 14, 2016 – The North Myrtle Beach of Commerce, Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB) is pleased to announce that Charlene Lynam has been named its new director of member relations and special events. In her new position, Lynam will serve as the key liaison for members and assist with event planning and coordination for all Chamber functions, programs and events.
Lynam first joined the Chamber in November 2004 and most recently served as the community programs and special events director. She has also held the positions of staff liaison for the Economic Development and Public Policy committees. Prior to joining the Chamber’s team, Lynam served at the Myrtle Beach Hilton and Embassy Suites at Kingston Plantation. Lynam also serves as a member of the Strand Optimist Club and on the Loris / Seacoast Healthcare Foundation’s Ball committee. Lynam has several years’ experience in the hospitality industry along the East Coast, having moved to North Myrtle Beach in April 1996 after working in the hospitality industry in Ocean City, Md.
