North Myrtle Beach Chamber supports North Strand Helping Hand

North Myrtle Beach, SC- The North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce CVB Executive Committee recently presented a check for nearly $7,500 to the North Strand Helping Hand Turkey Dinner Drive. The Turkey Drive provides needy families with an entire holiday meal for only $25 per family.

The check was presented to Kelly Johnson (center) during a meeting last week. The North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce has partnered with North Strand Helping Hand for this project and many others for over twelve years.

“I am so proud of our member businesses for raising the money to support this effort”, said Ed Horton, Chairman of the North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce CVB. “North Strand Helping Hand helps so many people in need in our community. We are extremely lucky to have such a caring organization in our community.”

North Strand Helping Hand is an emergency aid organization that provides assistance with the essentials of life: food, utility bills, transportations for stranded families, clothing and household articles to families in need in our community.
